- How long does it take to build a website?
Once the content is written and approved, and we have access to all images for usage, standard turn-around time on designing a simple website is two weeks.
- Why does my business need promotional material?
Promotional material is a great way to boost brand recognition. Printed collateral such as brochures, bookmarks, loyalty cards and other creative pieces serve as a nice take-away at meetings, mixers, socials and trade shows. Good quality, branded items such as mugs, shirts and hats make a great giveaway at community events and sales calls.

- Do you offer design services at a flat rate?
Yes! We can provide a flat rate cost estimate for things like logo, business cards, brochures, etc., based on these specs: initial consultation # of concepts # of edits color variations finishing touches, final product
- What is the creative process?
The way we see it, the creative process consists of varying working stages and the beauty of it is that they may occur numerous times throughout the development of ideas and in no particular order. Quite simply, they are known as inspiration, illumination, distillation, perspiration, evaluation, and incubation. When you hire us to create your brand, a logo, promotional collateral, an ad campaign, web site, or anything that requires a level of creativity, we look forward to it with great excitement and anticipation that the creative process will take time, and will evolve and ultimately produce a finished product that you will love. - What does it cost for a web site?
Web site design & development starts at just $2500*. We’ll provide a more detailed estimate once we outline specifications and the scope of work. *Basic WordPress site
- How often will we meet to discuss marketing and evaluate progress?
We encourage our clients to meet with us monthly (at a minimum) to discuss marketing, public relations and advertising efforts. We really like it when you want to meet more often.
- Is there an agency commission on ad buys?
Yes, if the media buy is purchased by Marketing Ideals on behalf of the client, we bill the industry standard at 15% commission. In some cases, we only negotiate advertising rates for our clients, therefore, the net is the cost to the client. (*Contact Jackie if you have questions about ad buys. Clients for whom we negotiate and purchase media must pay in advance, or be approved for terms.)
- Do I have to sign a long-term agreement?
Service fees exclude costs related but not limited to actual hard costs for printing and ads. Monthly retainer due on the first of the month, no long-term contract* required. A minimum of 6 months is recommended so that we can lay the ground work for marketing & public relations efforts, however, the contract may be canceled by either party with 30 days notice*.
- What does it cost for SEO and Web Maintenance Services?
Search Engine Optimization fees are billed at $100 per hour. Web updates & maintenance fees are billed at $75 per hour. We offer monthly maintenance agreements at a lower, flat rate which includes Adwords campaign management, copy writing, blogging and social media.
- What does it cost for graphic design services?
Graphic design services are billed at $85 per hour.
- What does it cost to hire a marketing professional?
Typically, monthly consultation fees would be any number of hours you choose (minimum 10) @ a rate of $125 per hour. (Non-profit rates are available.) In some cases, it’s appropriate to propose a lower monthly retainer to include Marketing Ideals Company as part of your staff. 1. Monthly retainer based on hours or; 2. Lower flat monthly rate with the opportunity for profit sharing (as a consultant, not as a partner.) Unlike our competitors, we do not bill for phone consultations or in-person meetings.
